I was born in Moers and joined ALDI in 2006 as a student. I stayed for twenty years. The first ten I spent in store operations, in Germany and in Australia. From 2017 I held director roles in real estate, international transformation and IT.

In Western Australia I picked up a drone. From above you see what you miss on the ground: roads and water running in opposite directions, the lines people leave behind without noticing. In 2018 that became Pines & Palm Trees, aerial prints in editions of fifteen.

In 2025 I founded 477 Design Co. in Düsseldorf, a studio for brand strategy and visual identity.

That is how I like to work, in leadership, in brands and in photography. Step back far enough to see the structure. Then go close enough to tell the story.
